In this fictional design project, I undertook the conceptualisation of a special hardcover edition for the novel "Where The Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens. Imagining this project, I focused on crafting a cover that captured the essence of the marshy landscapes and the solitude showed in Owens' writing.
Inside the book, illustrations of flowers, plants and birds help draw readers into the mysterious universe of Kya and her home in the marsh. While this project is completely conceptual, it shows how I can combine my design skills with my love for books and especially for the incredible storytelling that this book gives us.
